Our website address is: https://shopmonowave.com. Monowave (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates this website and processes orders for streetwear apparel.
What personal data we collect and why
Orders and account information
When you place an order, we collect your name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number, and order details. We use this information to:
- Fulfil and ship your order
- Communicate with you about your order status
- Process refunds and handle customer support requests
- Comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations
If you create an account, we also store your order history so you can view past purchases. You can see, edit, or request deletion of this information at any time by contacting us.
Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers. Stripe collects and processes your payment details directly according to its own privacy policy, available at https://stripe.com/privacy. We retain only transaction records (amount, date, order reference) needed for accounting and dispute resolution.
Order fulfilment
We use Tapstitch as our print-on-demand fulfilment partner. To ship your order, we share the information necessary to fulfil it — your name, shipping address, and order details — with Tapstitch. Tapstitch processes this data on our behalf to print, pack, and ship your items. Their handling of this data is governed by their own privacy practices.
Newsletter and discount signup
If you enter your email address to receive discount offers, we collect and store that email address to send you marketing communications. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, or by contacting us directly. We do not sell or rent your email address to third parties.
Comments
If commenting is enabled on any part of the site, we collect the data shown in the comment form, plus your IP address and browser user agent string, to help with spam detection. An anonymized hash of your email address may be shared with the Gravatar service to check whether you use it — see https://automattic.com/privacy/ for Gravatar’s privacy policy. Once a comment is approved, your profile picture is visible publicly alongside it.
Media
If you upload images to the site (e.g. in a review), avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Other visitors can extract location data from images uploaded to the site.
Cookies
We use cookies to:
- Keep items in your shopping cart as you browse
- Keep you logged in to your account, if applicable
- Remember your display preferences
- Support checkout functionality via Stripe

Who we share your data with
We share your data with:
- Stripe — to process payments
- Tapstitch — to fulfil and ship your order
- Shipping carriers, as required to deliver your order
If you request a password reset, your IP address is included in the reset email.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
How long we retain your data
Order data is retained for as long as necessary to fulfil legal, tax, and accounting requirements, and to handle any disputes or returns. If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely so we can recognize and auto-approve your follow-up comments. If you have an account, you can see, edit, or delete your personal information at any time (except your username). We can also see and edit that information for support purposes.
Where your data is sent
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam-detection service. Payment data is transmitted to and processed by Stripe. Order fulfilment data is transmitted to Tapstitch. These providers may process data outside your country of residence; each maintains its own safeguards as set out in their respective privacy policies.
Your rights over your data
If you have an account, have placed an order, or have left a comment on this site, you can request:
- An export of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction of inaccurate personal data
- Deletion of your personal data, except where we’re required to retain it for legal, tax, or security purposes
